These cards went the the above gift baskets. The moon & stars card was given to someone who was having twins (hence the baby baby) and she didn't know the sex of either. It's one of my favorite card I've done to date.
I am a stay at home mother of my two beautiful "babies", Evan (5) and Ava (2). I also do freelance interior design on the side. I, along with my husband (John) and our kids, live in the western suburgs of Chicago. However, we will be spending a large portion of the summer months at our new lake home in Michigan.
I have always enjoyed crafting. I started making invitations and cards about 7 years ago, only using papers and cardstock. After being introduced to Stampin' UP! products and becoming a demonstrator 4 years ago, I was soon hooked on the art of rubber stamping. Shortly after my first child was born, I started scrapbooking to preserve his memories. At first I was a "hesitant scrapbooker", as I wasn't sure I wanted to CUT the pictures... yikes! Now there isn't a picture I don't crop! It's amazing how my scrapbooking has evolved over the years... from not wanting to cut pictures and trying to use EVERY picture I took... to making my scrapbook pages actual works of art!
I have decided to start a blog about my papercrafting "addiction" to share my artwork with my friends and family around the country and hopefully inspire other fellow scrappers. Please feel free to leave comments!
